My Story
I was born and raised in Sullivan, Indiana. The youngest of five children, I developed my dedicated work ethic and love of the outdoors while working alongside my father and brothers on the family farm.
I grew up in a home that was religous but not Christian. We were reaised with good morals but did not recognize the importance of growing in our faith or developing a trhiving relatinship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
During my freshman year at Rose-Hulman I began to study the Bible in a deep and rich way that led me to the conviction that I needed to surrender my life to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
The next Sunday I came forward and made my confession to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I still remember that day as I came up out of the water, a batpized believer who was saved by the blood of Christ.
I knew from that day that I wanted to make it my mission to serve Christ with the remainder of my life so I finished my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and while working at Crane Naval Warfare Center I felt God calling me into full-time ministry.
I left my job and home in Indiana to pursue God’s calling at Lincoln Christian Seminary (LCS) in Lincoln, Illinois. I started my ministry at a small country church near the school while working toward my Master of Divinity degree.
Since graduating from LCS in 2004, I have served as Senior Minister for churches in both Indiana and Ohio. While serving the Lord in Indiana, I finished my Doctorate of Ministry Degree at The Master's Theological Seminary in Sun Valley, California.
I praise God for the opportunity that He afforded me to finish my Doctorate of Ministry (DMIN) degree. The DMIN spanned a 3 1/2 year time frame where I deepened my skill in Biblical Leadership and Expository Preaching. The pursuit of this degree has forever deepened the focus of my ministry to clearly expound on the Word of God in order to help each individual grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
I currently serve as the Lead Minister at Woodland Heights Christian Church in Crawfordsville, Indiana, where I passionately preach and teach God’s Word. My greatest desire is to spread the message of Christ to the lost and equip Christians to live authentic and bold lives for the glory of God.
