My VIEW OF A LEAD MINISTER
I believe that a Lead Minister must make sure that the foundation of his leadership, preaching, teaching, discipleship, staff development, and leadership development is firmly grounded in the Word of God. The Lead Minister must be one that (1) Encourages the Church with the Word of God, (2) Equip the Staff and Leadership with the right tools to be effective in ministry and navigate the obstacles of ministry, and (3) Educate the people of God with a Biblical Worldview.
The Lead Minister must be skilled in preaching, teaching, team building, stewardship, and leadership development while encouraging the spiritual growth of the leaders and staff of the church. He should be organized and detailed while understanding the need to be flexible in his schedule to make room for emergencies and counseling.
